How to Vote For the President on November 4th

This year the election may seriously be one of the most important elections in our time. With the United States in a state of complete financial stress and near total ruin, we need to choose the right party to turn this mess around fast! Your voice should be heard no matter which party you support, democrat or republican.
First of all you must be registered! The voter registration deadline usually falls close to a month before the official election. If you missed it you need to register right away to avoid missing out next time! We tend to forget that voting was not always fair.
Remember that it was only after the Civil War ended in 1865 that black males were allowed to vote. Amendments 14 and 15 were passed to guarantee black men the right to vote. All women had to fight for years to get the right to vote! This right was not granted until the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920. The right to vote is a hard won gift, one that you should not take for granted.
Once you're registered you need to do your homework on the candidates. Just because your best friend likes one candidate does not mean you should vote for them. Beware of newspapers, magazines, or television stations that report slander against a candidate as news. This generally means they were paid or bribed to choose a political side.
Watch the debates, listen to the actual candidates, and to the members of their party who support them, and who will be with them during their possible presidency. Research what they support through a reliable unbiased source.
A news article about how a candidate is horrible because they did not pass a new bill is not a good source. A better source would be one that shows what the bill outlines and how each candidate voted. Then you can see for yourself if they chose not to support a bill because the beneficiaries would not "need" it and it would waste taxpayer's money. Remember that each candidate wants to win, and slander is used on all sides in many forms. That is just politics.
After you choose your candidate you need to find the polling location near you in your city. There are several websites dedicated to helping you do this. The locations are also typically announced on the local news and in your local newspapers. You can expect to be able to vote in most places from 7:00AM to 8:00PM on Election Day, November 4th.
